Just listen to your captain that is what they are there for. They will put you on the fish.

Be prepared for inshore fishing if the water is too rough in the gulf. Protect yourself from the sun. Get ready to catch some fish!

Dont worry about what the weather might do - we had superb weather on 04 Jan 2019. Just live life and go for it. Go for a Captain with good reviews and have a great day.

Hire a charter to learn where to fish and what type of fish you can expect to catch. If you expectations are realistic then you will be happy with the results!

If you can, charter a boat and captain: it is intense excitement and you can catch many fish in a compact period of time.

Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico is excellent and Holmes Beach sticks out further into the Gulf so you can access it easier. I recommend going out at least 40 miles plus to get bigger fish.

Bring sun screen. Sunglasses, hats and bring a cooler to take home your catch in! :)
