What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Frankfort, Michigan for the first time?

My experience has been to book a trip in mid May for lake trout and steal head. Book a trip around mid August for Kings and Coho.

Be prepared for the water to be a bit rough this time of year. Be sure to check out the light house and the nice town of Frankfort. Bring good layers of clothing.

Bring sun screen and be ready to reel in the biggest fish you will ever catch in Michigan
