Book an offshore trip with Tails Up charters, Captain Ed really knows the area and can put you on some real quality fish. While there are lots of inshore opportunities, offshore brings some serious fish opportunities.

Me and my family wenton a 12hr trip with capt wayne in june last yr. Booked with another boat who overbooked and he gave us to capt wayne.WOW!! M arms were aching for 2 days after that trip.so we came back down this yr and tried a shark trip with Capt wayne.WOW! Everythang he said it would be pluss. Both trips underpromised over performed. Clean boat super friendly.excellent with kids and enjoys seeing you catch lots of fish. No salty language was used on the boat wich we appreciateand over. All super experience. When im in town ill be back on capt waynes boat

Be sure to take sea sickness meds before the trip.
Bring layers as it can be chilly in the morning trip out to the fishing spot.
Bring a cushion to sit on, the seats are not padded.
Bring water and a light lunch if it's an all-day trip.
Bring binoculars to view sea animals while out on the ocean.

We fished off the bottom and had a lot of activity. Lots of Red snapper activity but caught all kinds of different fish.

Chartering a boat with a captain is well worth it! They know all the hot spots and have everything ready for you to enjoy your time on the water!

It was very hot to be out in the sun for 4 hours. A cooler time of year would have been an even better experience.
