The bite was slow today yet our anglers still managed to catch a few quality fish. They caught 2 Sculpin, 1 Barred Sand Bass and 4 Halibuts. 3 of the Halibuts were too short to keep but their day was made when the 29" Halibut was brought over the rail! The weather was beautiful and it was a great day on the water!!

These anglers had fun catching a nice variety of fish! There are delicious dinners in their future. Our Captan really enjoyed having them aboard and we look forward to seeing them again.

From a Bat Ray, several barred sand bass and halibuts to lots of Spotties and more this group caught a lot of fish! All were released to be caught another day and everyone had a great time!!

Numerous fish were caught on this trip, with several keepers for dinner and more! The weather was great and these anglers had a fun time catching, keeping and releasing.

We always say "Fishing the Bay is like a box of chocolates; you never know what's going to take your bait"...and that's exactly what happened on this trip! In addition to catching halibuts and barred sand bass, our anglers hooked 3 Soupfin Sharks. This was the first time 3 of these were hooked on the same trip aboard Bubba Jean 28.

This group caught numerous flavors of rock fish! Calico bass, lingcod, Oceanic whitefish, vermilion reds, sheephead & sculpin. Great eating for these 4 anglers. They also caught and released a few barracuda. All in all, it was a great day at the Islands and everyone had a fun time.
