Fresh North Sea Fishing Reports

In 15 years of guiding, i never had the pleasure of landing a carp. Today was the day that it happened. And it got even better when a huge pike went for the worm on the next cast. What a superb surprise!

The sudden cold made the fish verry apathic but hard work resulted in both some nice zander and a very nice perch!

With only a few hours to spend todays guest chose to go fishing for zander in Amsterdam with me. Time was limited but we succeeded in our goal to catch a few of these weary fish. Well fished good man!

Despite the terrible conditions we caught some nice zander in Amsterdam.

My Scottish guest had one goal: catching a zander in Amsterdam, aka Zanderdam. Size didn’t really matter, and that laid back attitude paid off. He caught double digits of very nice sized zander, and a wonderful perch to finish it off. Vertical jigging was the wat to go, using the Garmin LiveScope to find and seduce the fish. Just textbook perfection!

This morning’s perch shows why: they are feeding on goby now. And given the hard strikes, these Amsterdam perch show no mercy!
