Fresh Bradenton Fishing Reports

Triggerfish opened today, March 1st, we can catch these hard fighters on our nearshore trips, also the hogfish are still around as are the sheepshead. The snapper and grunts also are a big help to round out a good day

The inshore redfish bite has been good this week! We are catching many slot size red fish and over slot reds with countless snook and trout to throw in the mix. fishing has been good! Lets go fishing!!

January and February are two of the best months for hogfish and for sheepshead, these are two of the best tasting fish in the tampa bay area. I can only put you on these fish on our nearshore trips so come on aboard and get some tasty fish for a fish fry

Now that gag grouper are closed our focus has changed to these tasty members of the porgy family. Sheepshead move in the bay more with each cold front so definitely if you are in Bradenton or Anna Maria come fishing for sheepshead and trout with Bearhull fishing charters!

The 4 Miller Brothers caught and released at least a hundred fish about 20 miles off of Sarasota Coast! They caught red gag and black grouper, bonnet head shark, a couple of robin fish (a fish with wings and legs), spanish mackeral, and many other species. I
