If experienced be specific what you want to catch. Otherwise trust the captain and boat.

I would highly recommend using Cpt. Dave and Let's Roll Charters. I have been on a few charters and were as enjoyable as his was.

Check out the great time with your family fishing off the coast with a seasoned ship's crew. I'm ready to go again.

The fish are there, you just have to go after them. Prepare for your trip, and stay hydrated.

4 hour trips stay close to shore. Expect blues and potentially spanish mackerel. Weather can be a potential issue. We had a great trip. Many blues and a few spanish mackerel.

Captain snow will provide everything you need for a good day of fishing. All you need to take and something to eat, dress for the weather, and don't forget the motion sickness pills.

Had a great time fishing the area. November may be a little slower but we still had a great time and got some fish. Hey it's better than working.

Some lightweight fishing gloves would be useful, as you will grab the lines with your bare hands to pull the fish in for the last few yards. Do that 40 times like we did, and my soft hands got pretty sore. Plus reeling them in. A small towel for sweat-wiping!

The captain and crew knew what they were doing and where the fish were hanging out! I know other fishing waters but not these, so going with them was a blessing!

The fishing locations were impressive. Not crowded. Scenic. Clean. The difficulty was due to recent rains and river "stained." Shrimp was better than mudminnows. Carolina rigs and bombers utilized.

The experience is all up to the captain. Find a charter that will meet your expectations. Read the reviews and book early. Then go out and enjoy yourself!

The day was hotter than expected. I would recommend to bring plenty of sunscreen. Fishing is great though. Expect to catch fish.

Bring plenty of water to drink, as it gets really hot in NC in June. Expect to do a lot of trolling and be ready for bursts of crazy action! It’s not a real long boat ride since there’s a lot of good fishing about 5 miles offshore.
