Fresh Chickamauga Lake Fishing Reports

Although fishing was slower today, we still managed to catch some beautiful crappie and a few bass pulling and pushing crankbaits.

Pushing and pulling small crankbaits resulted in a mixed bag of catfish, crappies, drum, and bass.

Using a variety of techniques and baits, a nice catch of bass, crappie, and catfish was taken from 20-30 FOW along the main river channel ledges in Lake Chickamauga.

The fish are still recovering from the recent spawn, and the bite was slow but Mike managed to land his PB white crappie. We also caught white bass, largemouth bass, and catfish. All fish were caught pushing and pulling crankbaits and jigs.

The crappie have finished their spawning and are moving offshore - suspending over brushpiles in 25 - 30 FOWI where we caught them by pushing and pulling small crankbaits.

We got some nice crappie spider-rigging on Lake Chickamauga. The fish were biting short and light an we lost several more than we caught.
