Trip Summary

The weather has kept us off the water this weekend, but last week was our best week for catching keeper size fluke so far this year. There was a lot of grass to content with, but if you were able to find clean water there where some nice fish to be caught. We covered a lot of area trying to find keepers fishing from behind Atlantic City to Great Bay. The Northern portion of the ICW seemed to have better fishing, and the 5 inch Gulp Alive was by far the best bait although minnows, spearing, and squid all caught. There are also a lot of Brown (Sandbar) sharks in the bay right now which we were catching using the baits other than Gulp. Pictured are Ben, Scott, and John Crowder from Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey with keeper fluke ranging in size from 19 to 21 inches.
