Fishing continues to be excellent in San Diego Bay! The halibut have been the stars of the show lately and we managed to catch 6 legal size fish over our last two outings. Live bait is the best choice but you can also catch them on dropshot plastics and swimbaits. Spotted Bay Bass fishing remains on fire with the action increasing as you head further South into the bay. Lots of Shortfin Corvina around with the grunion runs and we are catching one or two each outing. Sand Bass continue to bite in the channel and Calico Bass are biting along the Zuniga jetty area and near the bait barge. Now is the perfect time to get out for a relaxing day of fishing on San Diego Bay!
