Trip Summary
The inshore bite has been great with tons of big trout and nice snook. my area right now is closed for snook and redfish but the fishing hasn't slowed down at all. plenty of nice snook and redfish to keep you tight on fish all day along with plenty of trout to fill the cooler with. there are also a ton of mackerel out right now and 100 plus fish days are very common right now. The weather is also starting to cool down and the kingfish and triple tail are showing up more and more every day. Along with those fish showing up the grouper bite is getting better every day as well. We actually are already starting to catch gag groupers in the 15-10ft rock piles and the inshore grouper bite will only get better as temps start to drop. The red tide luckily has not made it up to my area at all and the reports are saying it is starting to go away. So if your looking to have a good day fishing we have plenty of fish that are all healthy and ready to be caught. Also with the grouper moving into shallow water only a 1/2 or 3/4 day is needed to go out and catch your fair share of groupers, kingfish, and cobia. Full day trips i normally will take you grouper fishing then come back in and target snook, redfish, and trout.
