Trip Summary

The temps have cooled off and the bait has shown up in good numbers to allow for some great action. Whether it’s fishing for yellowtail in the shallow water along the reef as well as drifting and slow trolling live bait on the deeper wrecks and ledges for Snapper, Grouper, Cobia,Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish and Dolphin. Trolling has also been producing some great Tuna action as well as Wahoo in the early mornings. The fishing will only continue to improve with each passing cold front from now thru April with prime Sailfish season just getting started double digit sailfish days are abound along with the other species you will encounter it makes for an exciting days on the water. Most of our fishing is just beyond the reef 5-7 miles from shore this makes for more fishing time and less ride time to the fishing grounds. Leave the cold and book now for some great winter fishing in the Keys. -Capt Z
