Trip Summary
Clients met me early in the morning and we left the boat ramp at dark. We began fishing at dark early in the morning Knowingly we only had a couple hours before the cold front blew in. Bait was very active tossing top waters we found ourselves in an "okay" trout bite. We boxed a few really nice trout 18-20 inches . An hour and half after sun light the bait shut down , so we moved out near the ICW catching small trout and keeper trout in between. After working for a limit of trout it was time to chase redfish! First spot we walked about 20 steps and clients quickly caught 2+ limits of redfish on TOP WATERS. What a great trip because front blew in right on time!
