Fishing the nearshore wrecks off Ft. Myers is producing good numbers of cobia and snapper. Using big thread herring for bait is the key. For the snapper were chunking up the herring and pinning it to the bottom. Inshore fishing the redfish and snook are biting around the mangrove shorelines using live and dead baits.
