Trip Summary
Yesterday I had Mr. Bob and his wife Iriscilla on board for a full day trip. The wind forecast was only off by 10 mph, again, but we pressed on and worked through low water conditions. Could not have asked for a more gorgeous day on the water. To make things even better, there was not another boat in sight the entire trip. We found dozens of redfish, all flushed out the marsh with the water being low. Getting them to eat was the tricky part. With cold temps and low water, the reds were extremely shy and tight lipped. We missed a few early on, as It can be a little tricky, being patient with the slow winter bite. Once they got the hang of it, good sized redfish were hitting the deck of the boat. We lost several, which would have completed the limit, but we finished strong with 7 solid Redfish and some great memories. Mr. Bob and Iriscilla really enjoyed themselves and made plans for another trip with me in September.
