Family Fun in Lake Catherine

Trip Summary

The Sanchez family braved the wind and cold and came aboard to catch their first Redfish. They caught their first, and many more. It was cold and windy as usual for this time of the year. Thankfully the tide had fallen out for a while, bringing out much needed cleaner water. We made several stops, catching a few at each stop until the bite would slow down. After catching and releasing their limits of Redfish of all sizes, we made one more stop in the Rigolets for Speckled Trout, but found even more Redfish. We had several triple hookups at the last spot which was a great way to top of another good day of fishing out of Island Marina in New Orleans.
