Friday, June 26th 2020 Afternoon Cy and Heather brought their 2 boys and Cy's dad out for an afternoon of fishing that turned into catching! The morning trip had been a little tough and none of the fish caught had any shad in their bellies when they were cleaned. That lead Capt. Omar to believe it would be an afternoon bite. The group started out fishing some drop offs and moving to the same place fish were caught that morning. After a couple hours of fishing and 7 fish in the box. Capt. Omar and Cy decided it was time to try the windy side of the lake and find some fish. As luck would have it the very first stop was loaded with fish! The first drop of all 4 baits had - "Fish On!" The last hour of the trip 42 fish were kept with at least another 10 or so thrown back to get bigger. Of course with some encouragement Heather caught the biggest fish of the trip. This is an outdoor family and Luck O' The Irish was very blessed to be their host on the water. Cy is a police officer from Oklahoma City and his father is a Navy veteran.
