Trip Summary

I had the pleasure of helping another captain with a large group that stayed at the lodge for 5 days. The guys caught limits early everyday and some days played catch and release after the limit was reached. Despite the wind and high water confining us to the local area each day, the guys had a blast catching some very nice Redfish. Live shrimp and gold spoons produced the bulk of the catch. Absolute pleasure fishing with these pro anglers. Captain Drake Morvant

Donna and Lorraine returned to the Bluewave for a quick trip recently. The ladies put their share of fish in the boat using live shrimp and artificial baits. Liz and Nick returned for another fun day on the Bluewave recently. We covered over 30 miles of water, finding a slow trout bite every bit of the way. The last hour of the trip the wind died, giving us perfect conditions for sight fishing redfish. They caught enough to save the day and kept a couple for the trip home. Captain Drake Morvant
