2020 has been a wild ride but, even still, we have a lot to be thankful for. Alyssa’s 18th birthday was today and her dad wanted to take her fishing. The pattern for today was to stick and move as the fish didn’t seem to be stacked up in any particular spot with our abnormally warm water temps for this time of year. So what does that mean? More spots equals more fish and thats exactly what we did. We covered a lot of water and picked a few fish off at every stop producing a very healthy ice chest at the end of the day. 8 different species across 26 fish is a record in and of itself worth bragging about...speckled trout, white trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead, bass, freshwater cats, and a channel mullet...talk about a Thanksgiving spread! We have an amazing fishery here and this box of fish proves it. A major cold front is approaching and will really stack the fish up. December 2020 will be one to remember and limits of speckled trout and redfish will be a great way to close out one of the wildest years in history, let’s go fishing!!!
