Trip Summary

4/10/21 Saturday Today we ran a morning half day trip. Our guests were a group of friends celebrating a birthday and trying something new to them. We started our adventure scouting the bay looking for the right conditions, we saw some birds and thought we were going to find the stripers, we had our first halibut on within 10 minutes! By the end of the trip, our guests were experts at the trolling technique and finished with a fine catch for the birthday dinner. Cameron, Thanks for trying the Nautilus, it’s always a pleasure seeing people experience our fishery and catching what lurks in our waters. Captain Ron & Hunter

11/20/23 Monday Today we had a family of first timers in the salt. The kids had a ball, yanking and cranking on the bass. Crustaceans were plentiful enough for bags for all! Brandon, Thanks for trying the Nautilus, it was a pleasure to show what the salt is all about. See you soon! Captains Ron & Hunter P.S. We have a crab only on Wednesday if you would like crab for thanksgiving! We have room.

10/21/23 Saturday Today we had a first time charter out for a day on the bay. We started our day looking in new waters for the pot of gold. We caught an elusive flatty to start our day, and bounced around looking for others. I spied another Captain that graciously gave up his spot. We found the fish picky until we threw some appetizers their way. We changed locations and went to yesterday’s iceberg and found that the fish moved in overnight and were pleasantly surprised with a catch! Michael, Thanks for trying the Nautilus! 9/6/23 Wednesday Today we had a new charter on the boat, the group was a combo of East coast and West coast folks . Our day started with a bang as we dropped in and had 3 flatties and missed bites on our first drift. We started getting with the program and caught all we needed along with the crew. We went for a ride looking for some variety to add to the box.fishing was tough with swirly silty water but found a few biters to make a catch. John, Thanks for trying the Nautilus!
