Well despite all of the rain we have had down in the Galveston area the fishing remains to remain sizzling HOT. Speckled Trout are hungry and they are everywhere. We are using live croaker for bait now and they are hitting that croaker with authority. If you never have fished with croaker it is something you need to try. We are fishing in depths of 4 to 8 ft over sand and shell. I know I keep saying the fishing is going to get better but it is pretty darn good right now. This is the time to get your trip in the books and lets go catch some fish.
