Had a great day with DR Bert today. His first ever Redfish and Inshore Slam! Tough conditions in the morning with a really low tide but the sun started to warm the water and with it the Snook bite. After catching about 20 trout out in the flats we moved up close to a sand bar and the Snook came alive. 10-12 Snook later (we lost count), it was time to get a Redfish in the boat to complete the slam. We moved to another location and changed baits. 20 minutes later fish on! A beautiful Redfish in the net. Inshore slams don't happen every day so it was a special event to get Burt his first one. Well done Sir!
