Trip Summary

We were out for a full day trip. After an hour out we found a school of fish but no bite. The fish went down as we approached. We went up to 12 nautical miles out and hooked a nice 18pounds dorado. We found few more schools of dorado but unfortunately no bite. Later in the day we found a big school of bonito. But the fishes did not want to bite. We were back at the beach with a nice dorado

We were out for a 5hrs afternoon trip. The weather was a bit windy and rainy at the beginning of the trip. We started fishing right after the reef. Line were out but not schools of fish could be seen. We had a strike on the long rigger lure but the hook did not get the fish. We suppose it was a marlin. After few hours we were near a FAD. Not strike. On the way back we had a marlin strike on the short corner lure. The marlin made many jumps and after a good fight the fish was in and we were back in the lagoon with a splendid catch. It was the first marlin for our customers.
