Trip Summary

And we did it.... the first bluefin tuna of this seasson was released by our team, a nice fight about 1 hour, and the fish goes to fight another day... a nice 150Kg Bluefin... Thanks for the Fronteira Lures Voador...lol... The fish is here and are hungry ... we will have more fight for sure....

For this first trip to tuna fishing we could saw them jump feeding on top of the water, but no byte... We know the were seen entering the tuna trap in big numbers... So they are here... Meanwile we had a Mako Shark visiting our lures... But did not like any....lol The weather did not helped, very..very windy...

The BlueFin tuna season is just around the corner... The large schools of BlueFin tuna are starting to come back from the reproducing grounds. With this water temp and the east swells still to come in the next days, they will soon be jumping all over our zone... Prime dates available from 25 June to 1 July...

Reports has coming from comercial fishermen, large schools of BlueFin tuna were spotted just 5 miles out... have being passing in front of us since end of april. Wit this water temp and the east swells coming, they will soon be here to be cough. Also the Japanese tuna trap as been releasing the smaller fish from 20-40kg, with is a very good sign for the number this year...
