Trip Summary

With calm winds and flat seas we headed out to the reef today to see what we could chum up and the usual suspects (yellowtail snapper) were more than cooperative. We landed 50+ fish in 3 hours. The yellowtails were boiling up on the reef like a yellow brick road. Huge balls of fish we raiding the chum slick we had set and any bait that got near them was eaten immediately. The sea turtles were abundant today and the barracudas were hanging boat side looking for an easy meal also. A banner half day of fishing was had in short order.
