Trip Summary

It’s been a tough last three weeks in La Paz. A plankton bloom caused what had been clean blue waters to turn dirty brown and green, leaving many boats fishless! Rare for this time of year, fishing went from very good to nearly ‘nada.’ The Adry was back on the water yesterday and we were pleased to put NorCal friends visiting on good fighting medium sized mahi-mahi. Water temps remain in the high 80s and while it took a bit of searching for sardina, Capt. Ivan was able to fill the bait tank in about 45 minutes. Two of the mahi crashed our trolled jigs and two came on bait. All in all, a good day. The water outside is still on the green side and we hope it will clear up before this week ends, as it appears a big tropical storm is headed our way. We will see! Book now for the tail end of the season!
