Well folks I’ll get straight to it fishing has been phenomenal. Today is July 17th we’ve run 31 trips since June 1 and every single one has limited out on Snapper, and produced great catches of kingfish, Cobia and Mahi. The 15th marks the beginning of our Gulf Snapper season which means that’s things are about to get even bettter! A lot better! As the shrimp boats shovel their bycatch overboard all of our sought after species like Cobia, kingfish, sharks and Mahi Mahi and Tuna will be drawn to the area making for some unbelievably awesome fishing throughout August. The Blue water is making its way up the coast via a near shore current and will be at the jetties by the end of the week. Bringing with it all the the great offshore species that are normally 20-30 miles offshore. This morning on one of our 6 hr trips we limited out on Snapper and trolled a weedline boating a nice bull Mahi. All within 20 miles. And with flat conditions we were able to run 45mph giving our clients plenty of time to load the cooler full of fish.
Summer is here don’t miss out on the great fishing!! Give us a call to get in on the action!!!
