Did an away charter on the "Knot Debaitable" to check out the daytime striped bass bite. Had a clear day, and we went to catch the outgoing tide. After a few drifts using live eels, the owner John hooked into a nice 40" striper which was quickly landed. A few drifts later I hooked into a monster fish, but it got caught in someone elses gear and was lost. It was a slow bite, and the tide finally died down and we went home. The owner was happy with his fish, and we had a great day.
