Gavin was a great captain for us! Originally we had 7 planned for the trip, but for various reasons only ended up with 4 - Gavin was super communicative and accommodating to these changes and most importantly, still got us on the fish.

All of us were pretty new to fishing these types of water so Gavin attempted to give us a quick tutorial on what to do. That lasted all of about 5 seconds though as he hooked into a fish as soon as it hit the water. We all grabbed poles and got to work after that!

Excellent trip with Captain Gavin. He was an all around expert. From being a navigator of the waters, to understanding weather patterns, and putting us in a great posting to catch fish. Great customer service as well. He even cleaned, cut, and Filleted our catch for us. If you’re lucky, he might even share his old family Cajun recipe to cook them up with. All in all you could tell he genuinely wanted us to catch fish and have a great experience. Both of which, he was able to provide. I highly recommend this trip and Captain Gavin.

Everything was what we expected, captain Gavin and his captain in training, we’re on their game, baited our lines, fixed them when we got caught up, played good country music and just overall created an amazing experience for us. Def will be booking another trip

We got skunked, but Capt. Gavin put in lot of work for us and made us feel very welcome. If the fish aren’t biting, nothing he can do about it. Great place and smooth trip

This trip was so great! Captain Gavin and his crew was great, very knowledgeable! We caught a ton of big fish and if a spot wasn’t bringing them in we moved and started catching them again! Could not have asked for a better time and they should be the first choice for anyone wanting to do a charter in Louisiana!
