I had a great 6-hour fishing trip yesterday with Captain Jorge. He called the night before and gave clear instructions and even adjusted the pickup spot to be closer to my hotel.

Meetup was right on time and smooth and Jorge and his first-mate David hustled to get us on the water ASAP. They worked hard to put us in the right spot and we had a Mahi on early that eventually jumped his way out of the hook. Proceeded to land two fighting Amberjack’s and then a third right as we were calling it a day. Bonus points for getting to do some dolphin and whale watching at the same time!

Vibes were good on the trip as Captain Jorge is a personable and likeable guy also his English was good which was helpful because my Spanish is not! He let me throw on some of my music in his Spotify which was a nice touch.

All in all a great day on the water and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with Captain Jorge.

I needed this trip so bad. The water was amazing. In the morning it was calm and so peaceful.  We went out and Captain put the lines out. At first nothing happened but then bait fish appeared out of nowhere!  Obviously being chased by something!  It was thrilling! Next thing I know one of the lines took off!!!! It was a Jack! took me forever to get it in. Very difficult.  Easily the biggest fish I’ve ever caught in my life! It was a day ago and my are arms is still sore! Then… the dolphins!  Playing within an rocks throw of the boat. Then a huge whale came up and didn’t leave! We kept seeing it. It was so special!  Literally healing to my soul! Captain was so cool the music was great!  I’m planning another trip!

Went fishing w my brothers and dad, we had agreat trip.  Captain Jorge was extremely flexible and accommodating, but most importantly is a real deal fisherman!!! Not only did we get a serious Striped Marlin on the way back in we had sick time hitting the Jacks!! No doubt if there is a next time in PV it will be w Captain Jorge!!! Most of all it was an unforgettable experience w the fam and fun crew!!

Jorge and David were awesome guides, I enjoyed my time getting to know them, lots of laughs!  I enjoyed a half day catching smaller fish (4 tuna, 5 Bonita and a decent grand trevally).

I increased my second trip to a full day and went out approximately 30 miles and caught 4 mahi mahj (one over 50 inches that they helped set up to be mounted and sent home to Canada).

The boat and gear was in great shape, all reels worked good and were the right size for the fish we were on.

The day was absolutely beautiful. Captain Jorge and Austin were so helpful and worked extremely hard to make sure we caught something. It was a slow day for all boats around but we still caught a Jack Crevalle and a Tarpon. We also got to see turtles and sea lions. I would love to come back and fish with them again.
