This trip was amazing! Captain David and his crew were very polite, engaging, and were able to have fun with all of us in our party. He knew a couple great spots and we were able to easily pull into the boat 100 fish and catch and release another 30+!!! Captain David filet the fish for us and put them into bags then recommended local restaurants that would cook it for us. (J Michaels / Sisters of the Sea). That was the best part of the day, being able to catch over 100 fish, then sit around the table (SotS) and have the fish we just caught sharing stories of what we just did on the boat.

It was a little slow going when we left on the first charter of 2021, the fog was really thick! This robbed us of 45 min of fishing. That was mother natures fault. As soon as Captain Dave got us out to sea we were on fish pretty quick, his deck hand John John, was really helpful showed us how to use the fishing rigs and my second cast caught a keeper! For our first time out it was a great experience even with four foot swells!! John John set up a special rig and we landed that 30 lb. Red Grouper what a fight for her! She loved it! The crew was very friendly and helpful and were just as excited as we were to catch that big fish! Highly recommend this charter. They were in an easy location to get to, to top it all off!

Captain Dave and John John on the vessel Tell’ntails we’re professional and most of all could land us on the fish. After trolling for a bit catching only one fish, Captain Dave made the call to bottom fish. Three hours later I was truly exhausted from catching so many fish I was ready to head back. Myself, son and son in law made many priceless memories. Thank you Captain Dave and John John.

Our group has fished from Alaska to Florida, the Great Lakes, and both coasts of Florida and have never been treated better on a trip. When the Captain will help the folks fishing by baiting hooks, de-hooking and cleaning fish you know you have made a rare find!!!! John John is also a rare find. He was like the Tasmanian devil: every where at once but in a good and pleasant way.
