Thank you for the honest review Adrian. I completely understand the reduced rating for Mayhem today. The AC going down is never a good thing on a hot day on a fishing boat. Thankfully for me it was an easy fix, the sea strainer was clogged and after a quick clean, something I couldn’t do while operating the boat, the AC is back and cooling. I’m really glad you elected to do Spanish and not Cobia so everyone was able to catch fish and everyone got to learn how to clean them under the direction of our fantastic mate, Rob!

This was my first time fishing for Cobia, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I chose Maritime Mayhem based on the other reviews, and wasn’t disappointed. Capt. John addressed all my questions and laid out exactly what we could expect for the day. It was HOT on the bay ( close to 100F), but the cabin on the boat was cool and provided some relief when needed - I’m not going to lie, there will be some down-time fishing for Cobia. Capt. John has great stories and is extremely knowledgeable about fish and history of the surrounding area, so the time passes by quickly in between runs. As you can see from the picture, I caught my first Cobia - 45” and 26lbs. I highly recommend Maritime Mayhem and Capt. John for your next fishing experience.

We had an awesome time on our trip and had such a good time on the water. This was our first ever fishing trip with 3 teenage boys and it was a hit. The boat was beautiful and had great amenities, it offered a comfortable place to get out of the sun when needed, as well as having an onboard bathroom. Not only was it a great fishing day it was also nice and relaxing just to be out on the water. My husband was also former Navy and Cap and him had a great time talking shop and we all got to hear great fish stories. We all would highly recommend booking a trip and we plan to book another soon.

We had a great time- caught about 100 fish Great day on the water- sun was out the water was pretty calm. Capt John did his part - always made sure we had bait on the line and helped removing fish. Capt John - we give Capt John a 5 Star. We stopped by J & W seafood and got a 1/2 Bissell of crabs - Jimmy’s - great size- prices have dropped from $50 down to $30. Great price!!!!!
