Through no fault of the captain, the weather had the best of us. It just wasn’t safe to continue our trip, so we turned around. We thought we would try again the following day, but the weather didn’t cooperate then either. You can’t control the weather! We so appreciate Capt. Gary considering safety over profit. Capt. Gary couldn’t have been nicer with us. He went above-and-beyond, trying to ensure we had a great day fishing. Having met with Capt. Gary and talked with him at length on his boat, we would never consider booking another charter with anybody other than Capt. Gary. I highly recommend anybody wanting to do a charter and be treated as if you were more than “just a dollar sign,” fish with him. It’s difficult to remember, or imagine, anybody trying this hard in favor of their customers. Actually, my wife and I now consider Gary as our friend and not just a captain’s name on some booking list. Hopefully, we’ll try again next summer and we can’t wait to once again visit with our friend, Capt. Gary.

Lee and Darla: Thank you for your kind words. Jose and I are both customer focused and try to treat our guests as we would like to be treated. We don’t always hit a “home run” (as in your case), but it’s not for lack of honest effort on our part. Rufus is doing well, he still has his issues, but seems to be enjoying himself every day. Gary and first mate Jose made our fishing trip a really fun experience. This has been on my dad’s “to do” list for a long time, and we were able to accomplish this with all three generations going and catching some mackeral and barracuda. Though the catching was a little slow, we were all very satisfied with the positive, fun experience. Thanks again, Gary and Jose! We hope to do this with again soon.
Hi Dan: That’s the first five star review we have ever gotten when all we brought to the dock was one very dead Spanish mackerel! I’ll admit we had some Fun chasing the barracuda all over the reefs and most of the Spanish catch went to feeding the cudas. But still; one mackerel? Honestly!! Went out with the board prior to our board meeting. We thought it would be a good way to catch up and chat about business while having fun. Caught plenty of fish and after the catch, the crew cleaned them and we took them to have them cooked for our lunch. Lunch was at Friendly Fisherman, which was incredible! Great day to connect and the crew took care of all the details.

Great communication from the captain prior to the trip. Captain met us upon arrival and it was a great time from there. Both Captain and the First mate were very personable and made you feel like you knew them for years. It was a great trip. We caught lots of fish including two barracudas. Overall a great trip and we will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

We had a great time. We had three kids all for our first ocean fishing experience and Capt and his mate Jose made sure we caught fish and made sure we were safe. We caught fish non stop. Great time!
