We started out with a rough go. Literally rough!!! Water was too rough the day we originally supposed to go out due to a storm and had to head home. Hector called us up in the morning and said the marina was still not letting smaller boats go out and offered to upgrade to a 31’ boat for an extra $50 we did it… the crew was nice and spoke English and set everything up quick. We hooked on to a smaller dorado in a couple hours. The crew rotated bates a couple times then we doubled up on a pair of dorado which was awesome! Would’ve given five stars but we lost my girlfriends fish when captain backed up for some reason loosing the fish in the prop. But we were on the board. Changed bates one more time trying to hook on to some sail fish, I wish we kept chasing dorado but didn’t say anything. The water was getting worse but glad we had the larger boat. The bite turned off with that bait change, and don’t know why we didn’t change again but stayed out for a few more hours. The water wasn’t easing up and girlfriend wasn’t feeling well so we cut our trip short. We had a near by restaurant that Hector recommended prepare our one fish which was “out of this world”. We watched other boats come in and checked out their flags. seemed like other boats did better than us catching several dorado and a couple sails. But that how it goes sometimes. Just wish we able to bring back that extra dorado that was lost. Overall a good fishing trip though.

Absolutely amazing Time highly recommend this captian!!!!

The Boat was the right size for the price paid and we hooked into 4 fish, but lost two them. We did get a marlin in the boat late, and followed that with a nice Dorado. I know how to fish, as I fish for salmon weekly at home and would have liked the opportunity to pull the rod and set the hook when the reel started screaming, but I was pretty much yelled at to “SIT DOWN”, though it took a while for me to figure out what he was saying. Probably more my ears than anything. That happened a couple of times. He also yelled at me to drive the boat in some direction, but I don’t speak Spanish, so I wasn’t sure what he was saying. I do know how to drive a boat, as I own one, and I was adjusting us to navigate “head in” to the wave, which apparently he didn’t appreciate. After a few hours, though, he did set the hook on a nice marlin that took me about a 1/2 hour to pull in. The captain did a great job of pulling the fish in for us to get a picture. It was the best fishing experience of my life, and the rest of the yelling was pretty much forgiven. On our way in, we hooked into a Dorado and he tried to pass the pole to my girlfriend, and she said “no way”. I thought she didn’t want to fish, but after we were on the boat, she just said that she didn’t want to get yelled at. That bummed me out and left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I tipped him $40 and the Dorado and we called it a day. I would use the service again, but I’d ask for a different captain with a little more English and patience under his belt. Not that he should HAVE to learn English in his own country, but I think better communication would have lowered the stress level a great deal.

Great experience, great captain, easy going , knowledgeable and hard working. I will be back again and again. Oh by the way he put me on a 250 lb blue Marlin! Just saying! Dorado Tonite in Los Cabos also!

Was one of the best days of my life !!!! Captain And Crew were amazing and helped me catch my dream fish a 170 pound striped marlin . Thanks for everything all be back soon . Book them !!!
