This was a great experience for me and my son’s first fishing charter. Captain Jim and his first mate Mike were great they never gave up on finding the fish we requested to catch and it payed off. My son landed a monster and i got to catch my share also. Can’t say anything bad about this crew they were great. Can’t wait to come back and fish with them again.
Captain Jim was very helpful to all of us and made sure we were doing what we had to do to catch fish. And so we did. All of us had a great time and came home with plenty of filets.
We had a great experience. Captain Jim and Skyler were patient and professional. We had a Mahi on the line, when another came close to the boat. Captain Jim jumped into action. Baited another rod, cast and had a second Mahi on the line for us to real in. Bonus…a giant sea turtle came up to our boat while we were rerigging.
It was a little rough, no fault of the captain. He put us on the type of fish we wanted to catch and had a memorable morning. Thank you!
We had an early morning half-day trip with Captain Jim aboard Fins and Feathers. This boat glided through the 3-5’ seas. We quickly hooked up with two Blackfin Tuna. We spent the majority of our time trolling. Shortly after that the short left went off, then the right long, followed. by the left short and the right long this was quite the experience most of us had never been on a boat with a quad hook-up. We now had 6 backfin tuna, which we ate sashimi style later that night. After that captain Jim took us to a few deep drop spots for snapper but it wasn’t in the cards. All in all it was a great day. We decided to buy a couple shirts and had to pick them up the next day, Captain Jim surprised us with a bag of magi fillets from the trip that went out after us. All I can say is wow. If you want a good time on a great boat with a seasoned captain, you’ve found the one! Thanks Captain Jim, we’ll be back soon!
