Captain Charlie is a nice person and knowledgeable fisherman. We kept 3 of the 40+ fish we caught. Used live bait and artificial. My 15yr old’s first chart trip was a great experience. Cap Charlie works with well people new to fishing. Will repeat.

Great trip with three generations on board. Capt Charlie put us on fish at every stop. Caught our limit with just as many shorties Thrown back! We will be talking about this trip until our return for more action on the Julie Marie with Capt Charlie. Strongly recommend this charter for a great fishing experience!

I chartered with Captain Charlie (CB Charters) three times in 2018. On all three trips we maxed out the boat limit on stripers, on one trip we maxed out the boat limit in 30 minutes. A good friend of mind also booked with Captain Charlie in 2018 and they maxed out their boat limit. Captain Charlie has fished the Kent Island area his entire life. During the trips he is constantly on the phone with other Captain’s finding out where the fish are. His boat, the “Julie Marie II” is a traditional big, roomy Chesapeake Bay boat (which I prefer over center consoles for charters) , it’s beautifully maintained with a clean spotless head. I already booked a trip for 2019. I rate Captain Charlie’s “CB Charters” five out of five.

As one can see in the picture, we had a great day. We caught our limit of Striped Bass by 7::30 AM. Then we moved south, and caught about 40+ Perch. Great meal that night. Captain Charlie provided the rods and bait. He went around helping us take the fish off, re-baiting, fixing line tangles and anything else needed. Great boat, captain, trip and day. Well worth it!!!
