*on time *had very nice equipment for us *very patient with teaching the particulars of beach fishing *helped us catch 10 fish of five varieties *good sense of humor and friendliness *professionalism shown to us and other anglers *will definitely call Steve to fish the next time we are in the area

WHAT AN AWESOME DAY! Coach Steve took an experienced fisherman, and taught him some new tricks! Very successful outing. Caught plenty of Whiting, a bonus bonnethead , and that Sheepshead was delicious. Not only is Coach Steve a great teacher but a blast to fish with! I will use him again and highly recommend him!

The fishing wasn’t great but we learned a bit and had a great time with Captain Steve. He’s a very genuine guy and worked hard to get us on with some bigger fish, it just wasn’t a good afternoon for fishing. My 8 year old had a blast catching the small bait fish (whiting) that we were then reusing as bait for something larger (snook). The snook started to show up at the pier later in our outing and we got one solid bite but didn’t hook into them. Fish just weren’t biting that day! Bonus, we saw 2 manatees swim right by the end of the pier. Overall, a great idea of a guide for beach/pier fishing and we’re glad we did it.

Thanks for your review. Fishing was a bit slow that day for the bigger fish but was glad your daughter caught a lot of smaller ones. We had a couple of shots on some big snook but can be tough to hook and land by the pier. Good time with you all despite the slow fishing. Hope you learned some new skills and hope we can try again when the fish are biting!

Booked for three hours am trip for Sil, my wife and myself. We are from Oregon an dSil is from Minnesota so very hard to do a day on the pier with out the knowledge and gear. Captain Steven is excellent. Kind, full of excitement and knows his stuff which makes for a fun time. It could not have been better. Highly recommend this experience even for those who think they know everything about fishing. Well worth the cost.

Things worked out pretty well that day, with some fish for the dinner table which was something you hoped for. Sheepshead and Black drum are tasty fish. Had a great morning fishing with Coach Steve. Being from the Midwest it was nice to have a coach with a wealth of knowledge, perfect personality and patience for someone with limited experience saltwater fishing. He takes the time to show you the techniques, let’s you practice and then reinforce/demonstrate the techniques again if needed (which I did). Caught a variety of fish and a good quantity of each. Rarely a dull moment. Highly recommend Coach Steve
