What a trip! We had 3 gar in the boat within the first hour, finished with I think 9 alligator gar (We kind of lost count there were so many). Then there was the bull Red, all 34 inches of him. Finally, we topped it off with 5 bull sharks (Biggest was 47 inches). And if all that wasn’t enough, we hooked into the Kracken, who fought me hard, and finally spit the hook when he was just a few yards from the boat. Highly recommend Andy and his crew! Amazing experience! (Your results may vary, because let’s face it, not everyone can be that lucky) I know Andy will put you on fish, he will work hard to make sure you get the best chance at them possible.

This trip was amazing and what was even better than catching the fish i came for was the hospitality of the captain and deck hand more than willing to help whenever needed we forgot our sunscreen and water in the car and the captain made sure to get us taken care of and stay hydrated and was super patient with us who didnt have much experience in these kinds of waters or manners and they did great couldnt be happier with this trip thank you for all you do Captain Andy.

This was an absolutely amazing trip out. Captain Andy and his deck mate did everything he could to prepare us for what lie ahead. Even in some very tough conditions they put us on some monster fish including a 70” gator gar. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the fish we where chasing, and was more than adequately geared to get the job done. Would highly recommend fishing with them and especially chasing these monster’s with them.

We had a blast fishing with Capt. Andy and his crew. Our 11yo wanted to catch alligator gar and my husband wanted a bull shark so we picked the Kraken trip as part of our vacation. We are easy going and definitely understand the nature of fishing so had no problem being flexible in meeting locations to start our trip. The 6 hours flew by. We caught so many gar (and lost some good ones too) I might have lost count. Our 11yo not only caught the gar he wanted but fought 2 Bull reds on his own. Unfortunately for my husband,  I caught the only bull shark that made it in the boat, though we did lose a few that cut through the line. My husband did get the big gar of the day 62” beating out our son’s 58” one. The huge smile on our son’s face said it all. This time of year, plenty of water and sunscreen is a must but I don’t think any of us were ready to be done at the end of our time. Capt. Andy and his deckhand John were great with our 11yo and good conversation all around.  We will definitely go back; in fact we are making plans now for making another trip.

Me and my 3 son-in-laws had a great time. Captain Andy and mate John were awesome! I would highly recommend them and if I’m ever back down here I will definitely hire them again. Next time Kraken!
