Friendly and knowledgeable Captain Ross took 4 complete newbies and taught us casting into the rip for bluefish and jigging the bottom for Black Sea bass. He worked really hard and didn’t wait in one spot if they weren’t biting. Caught 4 good size bluefish that were keepers. He filleted them for us and we’re throwing them on the grill tonight. We had a great time and will be fishing with him again.

We just went out with Captain Ross for an afternoon fishing trip. Communication before the trip was great as he kept us up to date on the weather. He was great with the kids working with them on how to cast and what to do. They learned two different ways to try and catch striped bass. It never felt awkward being on a boat with someone you didn’t know! The boat ride around was amazing and the sunset breathtaking. If you are considering a fishing trip on the Cape but don’t want a huge charter consider Cape Cod Fishing Adventures.

It was unfortunate that our recent 2 day storm killed the fishing. The boys were great and they seemed to be getting the hang of casting. Hope to see you all in early June 2020 for Sea Bass and Stripers and Bluefish as they once again migrate North.
