Dennis is a terrific guide. He has a very detailed understanding of Green Bay and Lake Michigan, knows where to fish based on the conditions that day, and which lures to use in specific locations. He drove us to the launch, and freely provided pointers and information throughout the morning. The definitive proof of a guide’s effectiveness ultimately is what is in the boat at the end of a trip and we caught several walleyes and large catfish as well as a bass, while other boats around us barely reeled in anything. I went on this fishing charter with two of my college friends. We had an absolute BLAST with Captain Dennis. The fishing conditions were rough out but he went above and beyond to make sure that our boat still found a way to get some fish in the boat! He is extremely easy to talk to and is very knowledgeable on fishing and the area. My friends and I would recommend Captain Dennis to anyone! If you want to have a fun day on the lake fishing this is the charter you should do!

My wife and I, fishing beginners,  really enjoyed the half-day fishing trip with Dennis in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  Dennis really knows the waters around Wisconsin, and demonstrated his knowledge, taking us to a great spot to catch Salmon that could be seen jumping around the boat.  During the trip, he showed us how to use, cast and work a reel & rod that my wife and I had never used before.  We were able to take home a 21.5 lb Salmon, that you see in the picture.  We took it to Baileys Harbor Fish Company, who did an excellent job smoking 1/4, and processing 3/4 into fillets.  This made for 8 servings of smoked fish, and 8 servings of fillets.  Last night, we had some of the smoked fish on crackers…Very good and tasty!!!!
