Hi Paul sorry for the confusion about the pricing. However everyone has to pay tax. And there’s a disclosure about credit card convenience fee. And it’s customary and also disclosed on website about tipping the deckhand. I am glad you enjoyed yourself and caught fish. Tight line till next time.Thanks Capt.Steve

If it weren’t for the fact we caught some fish I would’ve given this trip a one star but 3 it is. Lesson learned. Ask about the age of the boat and equipment before booking any trip. Motor troubles plagued this boat all morning to the point one of the two stalled. Coming back to shore took 3 extra hours and was not fun at all.
Not a mention or offer of a discount. Instead we are told “these things happen.” Ok??? We paid in full and even tipped his mate 20% because it’s not about the money; I’ve been blessed with more than enough.
However excellent Customer service should be given in any industry including fishing. I know it exists out there so I will find it with a different Captain/company next time.

Angel I’m sorry you feel that way. However I feel that I went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I filled a bucket of ice and water so that your 73-year-old father could soak his feet because I could see that he was uncomfortable. I also got him a cold neck towel to help him cool off. Consistently provided ice cold water for all passengers on board. When we got back to the dock I immediately invited everyone into my home so they could cool off and offered them ice water cold beer and snacks. I am sorry we didn’t have any mechanical issues until we had fished for approximately 3hrs and we where 18 miles offshore. Angel just to let you know I am extremely meticulous about the maintenance on my vessel because I have my passengers and crews life in my hands. Also the age of the vessel is not the issue. There are many vessels in charter service that are much older than my vessel. It is all about maintenance. I just had serviced the port engine and had the starboard engine rebuilt 20 hours back. However they are mechanical devices and mechanical devices can and will fail. Unfortunately we never know when that will happen. And I am truly sorry that happened to you and your family. However that is why we have 2 engine’s so we can get our passengers home safely. As far as a discount there was a agreed price prior to departure. And it is customary to tip the deck hand 15% to 20%.
