We had a great morning out with Capt Corey. He was very easy going. Would highly recommend for an outing with the family.
We had three adults and two young boys. The Captain had us on fish in no time. He was great company, very knowledgeable and helpful with the boys. Everyone is still talking about how it was the best day of our vacation. I would highly recommend this charter.
We had an excellent time and caught a good variety of species. They were very friendly and it felt a lot like spending time out with a couple of buddies instead of just a fishing charter. If you’re looking for a laid-back time with some nice people, look no further.

Before our scheduled Thursday morning trip I received a text saying there was motor issues and the trip needed to be rescheduled. Quickly another text came through saying it wasn’t meant for me, but another guest he was taking out and to ignore. However later our trip was needed to reschedule to Friday afternoon. We then got another text later saying Friday morning became available after a cancellation. On the trip the captain at one point checked bolts on the motor, which I found odd. During the trip we caught mostly catfish, croakers, a few sharks and a dozen white trout which were kept. Captain was helpful baiting and releasing the catfish, but seemed to be very distracted by incoming phone calls and texts. After trying a few spots, it was decided to head in as a storm was approaching. While traveling in the motor completely seized up, and died, which left us dead on the water. After nearly an hour of little communication and drifting, a tow came out to bring us in. Ended up being a frustrating morning of fishing with an overall lack of communication while on the boat, and what seemed to be bandaid work on a motor before taking myself, my father, nephew, and my 12 and 9 year olds out on the water.

Sorry you had a bad experience and no it wasn’t “band-Aid work” I I had just put the motor on the boat the day before because my other motor decided to quit also! Checking Bolts? I was trying to make sure the steering was good to go so we did not have an accident, when it comes to a boat you always have to check your stuff and obviously I cant control the motor locking up, you think that was inconvenient for you? Well imagine how that makes me feel? And when it comes being distracted on a phone yes I have another business that I own and have to take care of, I have to answer text messages and calls. I wish you realized that a review like this does to someone buisness. I am a hardworking father just trying to provide for their family. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t talk to me first? Send me a text. Call me? There is other ways this could be resolved but instead you chose to bash me on here for everyone to see. I will say reviews like this are very rare. My clients always enjoy my trips and I get repeats every year. And as far as actual fishing goes I kept everybody baited up and we caught more fish than most around us. So I don’t know what your issue is.

Great trip! There were four of us that went. We got on the fish quick and came home with more than our group of eight could eat! Captain Corey was super nice, helpful, and informative about all of our questions. Highly recommend!
