We initially booked a half day bass fishing charter on Table Rock. Robbie called and suggested fishing for trout instead, due to a slow bite for bass and starting earlier due to the heat wave. He put us on the rainbows pretty steady from start to finish. Great captain, boat and gear.

Robbie put us right on top of the fish.  After seeing other fisherman on the water struggle finding fish I thought to myself “this is going to be a long 4 hours.”  Nope, Robbie found us fish and we left with our limit and the 4 hours flew bye.  Definitely recommend!

Robbie is an awesome guide and a pleasure to fish with. He is very prepared and works to ensure that everyone on the trip is having a good experience. We have fished with him several times and he always manages to get us on the fish.

Captain Dodson went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I got to catch fish. We were interested in bass fishing on Table Rock Lake, yet the captain informed us that the bass bite was off and recommended we go trout fishing on the White River instead. Within minutes of getting to our first fishing spot, my wife and I doubled up on rainbow trout and caught our limit within 20 minutes. We also got to see foxes, a coyote, and a bald eagle during our excursion. We highly recommend Dodson Guide Service and look forward to fishing with him again.
