The wind was out of t he South and gusting, the water temperature was too hot so a 1/2 day was just right. We will be back when the fish are bitting. Captain was good to get along with. Happy to have a couple of days on the Bay Erwin

We had an awesome time for our fist bay fishing trip. Jon Wood was great on getting us on the fish quickly and knows many hop spots. Great boat, great conversations with the Capt. We’ll be back soon. I highly recommend for an enjoyable trip.

Though it was windy (10-20 mph), John found a spot out of the wind with pretty good water clarity and my daughter was able to limit out on trout. The whole experience was great, John is just enjoyable to be around. Thanks for a great trip!

We had a great time with Captain John Wood. He really puts in a lot of effort to make your trip worthwhile. He knows his stuff and is a great guy that I could easily spend 8 hours on a boat with. We will definitely be repeat customers of Captain John.
