Highly recommend Captain Cheyne and Southern Mayhem. Knowledge of fishing and the locations were very helpful and rewarding (early cold front and lower temperatures, not a good combo) as Cheyne found the fish. Great conversations and a spotless boat. Been on quite a few charters but will say that Southern Mayhem was the best. Captain was passionate about his area, knowledgeable and a great teacher. At one point a snook hooked up, took off down the shoreline and tangled me up in the brush. Captain could have let it go but my man Cheyne hopped in the water, followed the line, under a dock to the other side, found the fish and brought it back to the boat. Captain is all in on delivering a great experience to his clients. Video of him taking a swim attached. Definitely worth booking.

My entire family had a great time! Cheyne was an affable and informative host and captain! Not only did we get to fish in some high action spots, we also were able to see a lot of wildlife in and out of the water. We will definitely be booking with captain Cheyne on our future visits in Cocoa Beach! Thanks again for the great adventure!
A+ fishing trip! Pleasant boat ride, educational bird watching, and surprisingly interactive dolphin-manatee-tarpon socials, along with catch and release excitement. We reeled in reds, spotted sea trouts, supersized pin fish, and mangrove snappers. We had a great time! Highly recommend Captain Cheyne for that full fishing experience.
I took my 4yr grandson on this trip for his birthday! He loves fishing ! Captain Cheyne couldn’t have been a better guide for us! My son also came along and we all had a great time! We did the 2 hour trip and it was perfect amount of time for the little one! Will definitely book Another excursion next time I’m in town!
