We could not have asked for a better trip than what we experienced yesterday.  Total of 17 reds from 6 to 12lb each along with a few trout for lagniappe.  Josh seemed to have as much fun as we did, cutting up and getting into the moment, but at the same time keeping up with the requirements of a charter captain.  He’s incredibly knowledgeable & able to quickly adjust to changes in order to maximize the time available.  If you’re looking for a fantastic charter with a fun personality, this is your guy.

Just want to give a big shout out to the captain.  If I could give 10 stars I would.  Before this trip I had 3 other people cancel but what a blessing it was to fish on the out cast.  The captain knows his stuff and makes a great experience.  Yeah his dudes an all around good dude and is laid back and great with kids.  We started at 8 in the morning til 12 from catching bait to big fish my so had the time of his life and hasn’t quit talking about it.  Thanks and I’ll be booking again in the near future

Captain Josh Nelson was super:  knowledgeable, professional, and tailored our experience to each person’s individual ability and experience level.  We all caught a Red Fish, 40 inches plus and 40 lbs.  What a thrill for all of us .

A true life time memory!!

We are in Destin for family vacation.  I took 4 kids out with Captain Josh for a 4 hour trip.  We had a great time!  Hooked up with well over a dozen oversized (35-40 lb) Redfish.  Also took home enough redfish and snapper to feed us for several meals.  Highly recommend Captain Josh!!

We did an inshore afternoon trip with captain Josh from 1-5 p.m.
It was very slow and we only boated 2 fish but it wasn’t for lack of trying. We saw many fish that just would not bite. Several very Large redfish. We ended up boating a nice speckled trout and a grouper. Josh was excellent with our 2 boys who were 5 and 7. He was very patient with them and tried to include them with everything he was doing. We were able to see some dolphins who came right up beside the boat. I can tell you that all the guides were on the phone on this particular afternoon calling each other trying to locate the bite and it didn’t seem like anyone was having any luck. We just got struck with a bad day. I have no problem recommending Josh to anyone and believe that when we come back we will catch a boatload with him. If you have kids I don’t think you could go wrong with Out-Cast Charters because we were treated to notch and even stayed out a little over time trying to put our kids on fish. We may not have slayed them this day but that why it’s called fishing and not just catching.
