I’ve been on many fishing excursions and I’m used to the captain and mate being friendly and genuinely interested in making sure you have a good time, whether the fish are biting or not. I’m befuddled how this guy received such good reviews. I took some family out for their first saltwater fishing experience and made sure to book a highly rated family friendly charter. The captain greeted us with a grunt and a look of annoyance. I had to introduce myself. I had to ask where the children’s life jackets are. The whole trip reflected that tone, like he was annoyed to take us out. Never smiled once the entire trip, no conversation at all. Very cold and generally grumpy. Very surprised at this demeanor considering the reviews. While the fish weren’t biting, we made the best of it and enjoyed each others company in spite of the sour vibe of the captain.

Sorry you felt that way but the timing wasn’t good the best time for fishing in the bay is an hour before the top of the tide and an hour 2 hours before the top of the tide 2 hours after you fish dead load tide we did the best we could
