Captain Dan and his mate were awesome didn’t get the big ones but not for lack of trying
Got some fish and the crew did all they could to make it a good trip
Possibly not the ideal time of year. We caught some small-med tuna via trawling and some very small reef fish. No sounder was used when reef fishing and trawling wasn’t overly successful. The boat was pretty tired and in need of a bit of repair. For the money we paid I’m sure some of it could go back into maintenance. The captain and crew were great and really made us feel welcome. That was the best part of the trip. Ultimately it was expensive for what we got and possibly using a sounder may have identified bigger reef fish. Overall 3/5.
