Had a great time with Captain Humberto and first mate Adrian. We went for the full 8 hours and I highly recommend the full day if you’re on the fence about it. We started off catching a nice Kingfish and decided to keep it! A few hours later we reeled in a “small” 175lb Blue Marlin! As it was the beginning of the season we were super happy with it! Adrian answered a ton of questions we had. At the end of the trip, captain Humberto filleted the kingfish and then walked with us up to the club restaurant where they cooked up our catch. Such a cool experience and a great time!

Highly recommend Humberto and his crew! Although fishing isn’t catching, and we all know there’s always a chance to have a slow day.. Captain worked hard with his mates and we found fish. LOTS of them. Drag was singing for about 5 hours straight after some searching. Some big tuna, big Dorado, a BIG shark and we just missed a very large Blue Marlin on our way back in. Mission was to put my dad on his first tuna and Humberto delivered! Exceptional trip. Great crew. Solid gear and spectacular fishing. It’s all about seasons and I’d factor in the moon phases if you want to increase your chances, but in ending… that was a top 5 fishing trip and we have fished all over the world. I would go back and fish on THE DOUBLE HOOK no questions asked. Thanks again Captain for a great day on the water and a very memorable experience!!

I deep sea fish regularly and I have never been skunked. The opposite in fact has been my experience with an abundance of fish to take home. This trip I guess I was over due a less than exciting trip. Double Hook and the 1st mate did everything and more than could be expected but the fish just didn’t cooperate. I did catch 1 Barracuda but no edible fish. I nevertheless enjoyed the trip.
Conditions were definitely in our favor, but the fish were not, we didn’t get any hookups, and we didn’t get a single bite. But the best part was the captain and first mate tried their best to get us on fish all day and always kept moving if there was nothing in the area, also fished pasted our time to try and get us on something. Was still worth the trip!
