We had an amazing fishing experience with Derek. We caught our bait easily and then landed some great fish. Darren knows the spots and was an engaging, enthusiastic captain. He cleaned and filleted our fish, ready for transporting it home. Thoroughly professional!

We had a fantastic day. We each caught a snapper. One for eating and one for bragging (80cm monster). Derek was very knowledgeable and helpful. And aside from that a really nice bloke too. I would highly recommend Bay of Islands Big Fish. If we get back here we’ll look him up again.

Got put straight on the fish by Derek, 3 massive kings on board by 930am. Skipper had great local knowledge and knew where the fish were. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic day of fishing, the skipper was very knowledgeable and knew where to go. We got a heap of livebait in no time then went chasing the big ones. My wife caught her PB Snapper and I my PB Kingfish.
